Meet the Presidency

Madeline Rowan

President: Madeline Rowan
Hi everyone! My name is Madeline Rowan and I’m so thrilled to serve as the SFLSA President this year. I am a Senior majoring in Human Development, and am from Kaysville, Utah. I’m passionate about understanding people, supporting communities, and making meaningful connections. I love all things music, enjoying nature, baking new recipes, traveling to diverse places, and spending time with friends and family. I am looking forward to an amazing year!

Kekua Chun

Hey! My name is Kekua Chun and I am privileged to be serving as the SFLSA Vice President this year. A little about me--I'm from the small town of Wahiawa, Hawaiʻi. I'm currently a junior in the Family Studies program and am also pursuing a minor in Global and Community Impact. I'm hoping to pursue a career in family life and financial literacy education either as a clinical therapist or a program officer. I enjoy cooking, spending time in the outdoors, going to fairs and markets, and playing pickleball (I'm not good at all, but I still think it's fun).

McKenna Goates

Secretary: McKenna Goates
Hi y’all! I’m McKenna Goates from good ‘ole Orem, Utah. I am so grateful and excited to serve as the SFLSA Secretary this year. I am a senior majoring in Human Development with an emphasis in Biological Foundations, and I minor in Contemporary Dance. In the near future, I hope to pursue a Masters of Occupational Therapy and integrate healing principles of dance. I’m passionate about helping others use their bodies to experience the gift of life! When I’m not studying, you’ll find me dancing, baking, skiing, and finding the new best food!

Hello! I am Madeline, the 2026-2027 SFLSA Belonging and Inclusion officer! I am majoring in Human Development at with plans to earn a master's degree in either Nursing or PA school. If I’m not studying, I enjoy listening to audio books, playing sports, cooking, and gardening. I am passionate about leadership and helping underserved communities. I look forward to another great year with SFLSA!
