President: Laura Johnson

Hey everyone! My name is Laura Johnson and I am President for the SFLSA. My major emphasis is Family Studies, and I absolutely love it! School of Family Life has been an incredible place to be these past four years. I have enjoyed the community and friendships that have been fostered as part of this Academic Association the past two years! Some fun facts about me: I love to hike when it is warm outside, game nights with friends and family, going to the gym, singing, listening to my favorite music, concerts, and anything that has to do with food!

Vice President: Kinley Hartman

Hello! My name is Kinley and I'm a senior majoring in Human Development and minoring in Contemporary Dance. I’m from Northern California and spend a lot of my time dancing, singing, acting, working out with my friends, going on walks and having spontaneous concerts with my friends and family wherever I go! I just got married this past December, and it has been everything good and joyful! After finishing school, I want to be a dance therapist for children who are struggling with their mental health. I am in love with ASL, being outside at night, learning new things, getting to know people and hearing their stories. Some of my favorite things are cows, movies (I'm an avid movie watcher), fun socks, Broadway musicals, and picnics!

Hey, I'm Nicole and I'm so excited to be part of our student association! I'm a senior in Family Studies and am working towards becoming a marriage and family therapist! SFLSA has been so helpful for me as I've tried to figure out what classes to take and what I'm interested in doing after I graduate. I've enjoyed all the events and I hope you have a great time engaging with SFLSA as well! I'm from Sacramento, California and I love reading, listening to music, going to concerts, and watching TV. Some fun facts about me: I love BTS, my favorite movie is Warrior (2011), and I reread the Harry Potter series each year.
